Our paper to Journal of Biological Chemistry has been accepted - https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/41386296/. The work titled "Small molecule intervention of actin-binding protein profilin1 reduces tumor angiogenesis in renal cell carcinoma" demonstrates efficacy of a small molecule inhibitor against Profilin-1 in reducing renal cell carcinoma tumorigenesis. We also show in this paper that we are capable of loading these molecules into lipid microbubbles to deliver locally using this theranostic tool via ultrasound.
