Research

Our research focuses on innovative approaches to uncover the molecular mechanisms that underlie cytoskeletal dysfunction and its impact on disease progression. By integrating advanced imaging, molecular biology, and computational modeling techniques, we aim to discover novel therapeutic targets and strategies that can transform patient care. Our current projects are listed below.

Mitochondria staining in cells
Mitochondrial Regulation in Cancer

Investigating how cytoskeletal proteins influence mitochondrial function and metabolic pathways in cancer cells, particularly in renal cell carcinoma.

Molecular modeling for profilin inhibitor
Actin Cytoskeleton in Cardiovascular Disease

Exploring the role of actin-binding proteins in the development and progression of atherosclerosis, with the goal of identifying new therapeutic targets.
